Last week I produced a number of monoprints with fresh cow parsley I had picked from a field nearby together with grasses and wild flowers. I was delighted with the fresh, spontaneous prints, apart from occasional contamination from sap and bruised blossom. My attic studio was full of the smells of the meadow.... Yesterday I noticed I had acquired some new companions though. Bees have taken up residence in the roof space, the other side of the latte and plaster wall to my studio space. Attracted by the pollen I wonder? (Printed on Canaletto paper 10cmx10cm)
